Tabor Street Cleaning

Today, I was back in Lakewood, working on Tabor Street (80215), where I installed gutter leaf guards to help protect the home from clogged gutters and water damage. The project called for stainless steel fine mesh leaf guards, carefully painted brown to perfectly match the existing gutters and roofing, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

During the installation, I cut out a small corner section of the mesh so that each piece would properly overlap the next, creating a seamless and secure fit. In total, about 60 feet of gutter guards were installed. One of the more challenging sections was a 10-foot stretch above a swimming pool, which required me to work directly from the roof for safety and precision.

All in all, the brown sprayed gutter leaf guards came out looking fantastic, blending in beautifully while providing excellent protection against debris. It's always rewarding to see a job completed where quality meets craftsmanship.

Window Washing in Lakewood, CO

Today, I had the pleasure of washing windows once again at a beautiful home on Tabor Street in Lakewood, CO 80215. This isn't my first time here—I cleaned their windows last year before their big remodel.

Since then, the homeowners had powerwashed their entire house, including a fantastic new deck and railings, along with numerous other upgrades. While the powerwashing freshened up the exterior, it unfortunately left some stubborn hard water mineral spots on their windows.

With a bit of elbow grease and some careful cleaning, I was able to restore their windows to a sparkling finish. Both the homeowner and his wife were thrilled with the results.

In fact, they were so pleased that they sent me over to their son's house next to work my window-cleaning magic there, too!

It's always rewarding to help homeowners maintain the beauty and clarity of their windows, especially after a big home transformation. If you've recently remodeled or powerwashed your home and noticed spots on your windows, don't worry—professional cleaning can bring back that clear shine.

We recently had the opportunity to clean both the interior and exterior windows of a stunning 9,000-square-foot home perched atop a hill in Larkspur, CO. The homeowner was preparing to put the house on the market, and a photo shoot was scheduled for the day following our window cleaning service.

The home's front windows, facing west, are an impressive 40 feet tall. To handle this, we came fully prepared with all the necessary ladders and equipment.

After completing the job, the homeowner requested a monthly exterior window cleaning until the house sold. The following month, while performing this service, the owner came out to share some exciting news—he had just received an offer on the property. Grateful for our assistance, he accepted the offer and thanked us for our services. We're thrilled it all worked out for him and wish him the very best moving forward.

Today, on our list was interior and exterior window cleaning, along with gutter cleaning. The house had recently been under construction, leaving dust, paint, and sheetrock mud on the windows.

We began with the interior, carefully cleaning the sills, window frames, and tracks. Once the inside was spotless, we moved outside, starting with the gutters. We hand-scooped debris into garbage bags and thoroughly rinsed the gutters. We also inspected all the downspouts to ensure they were draining properly.

Finally, we cleaned the exterior windows to complete the job. Upon finishing, the homeowners were very pleased with the results—a job well done!

We performed a post-construction window cleaning service, including both interior and exterior windows, as well as thorough cleaning of the screens, tracks, frames, and sills— all part of our comprehensive package.

The windows were small French-style, also known as country-style windows. Using a small-sized squeegee and a fine scrubber, we carefully removed the construction debris. Special attention was given to cleaning the woodwork, glass dividers, and especially the corners and edges alongside the framework.

Upon completing the job, the homeowners expressed their gratitude and scheduled us to return next spring.

Will’s Window and Gutter Cleaning in Elizabeth, CO

At the Wellness Center in Elizabeth, CO, we provided exterior-only window cleaning along with gutter cleaning services.

Although the gutters had existing leaf guard protection, the property is surrounded by tall pine trees with long, thin needles that tend to work their way through the guards. I recommended to the owner and caretaker that they remove the old leaf guards and replace them with fine mesh stainless steel leaf guards for better protection.

They agreed, and I provided them with information on where to order the new guards. Since I don't supply the guards myself, I do not charge extra for this service.

We began by removing the old leaf guards and thoroughly cleaning out the gutters. After giving them a good rinse and ensuring all downspouts were draining properly, we installed the new fine mesh stainless steel guards. Lastly, we cleaned the exterior windows, leaving behind a happy and satisfied customer.

Hard Water Mineral Deposits on Windows and how to Deal with it in Colorado

Hard water can leave stubborn mineral deposits on windows, resulting in a cloudy white or gray buildup that significantly diminishes clarity. This mineral residue is often overlooked as the root cause of the blur, but it can make windows appear foggy and reduce the amount of natural light entering your home.

During the warmer months—especially in spring and summer—sprinklers frequently spray water onto windows. When this water evaporates, it leaves behind mineral deposits. Similarly, power washing your house or driveway can inadvertently splash water onto your windows, causing these same unsightly mineral marks.

Causes

Sprinkler water hitting windows: After the water dries, minerals stay behind.
Power washing: Water used in cleaning can deposit minerals on window glass.
Hard water composition: The mineral content in your area's water varies, leading to different levels of buildup.

Effects

Windows develop a cloudy, hazy appearance.
	Reduced natural light penetration.
Aesthetic impact on your home's exterior.

Prevention

The good news is that preventing mineral deposits is fairly straightforward:
Adjust your sprinklers: Make sure the water doesn't hit the windows.
Dry windows immediately: If water does splash onto windows, wipe them down promptly with a soft cloth to prevent drying marks.
Monitor water use near windows: Be cautious when power washing near windows and shield them where possible.

Removal
Once mineral deposits have formed, removal can be challenging. Professional cleaning involves:

The use of specialized chemical cleaners designed to dissolve mineral buildup.
Intensive scrubbing, which often requires multiple applications to fully restore clarity.
Variable results depending on the severity of the deposits and the hardness of the water in your area.
Typically, professionals can remove between 80% to 100% of mineral deposits, but some heavily affected areas may require repeated treatments.

Additional Tips

Consider installing a water softener system if you live in an area with extremely hard water.
Regularly inspect windows for mineral buildup, especially after sprinkler or power washing.
Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaning tools to avoid glass scratching during removal.

By understanding the causes and taking proactive steps, you can maintain clear, sparkling windows and avoid the frustration and expense of extensive mineral deposit removal.

Saddleback Dr Cleaning

Back in Saddleback Dr, 80104, I had the opportunity to work on a custom project that started last week with cleaning both the interior and exterior windows of this beautiful custom-built home. Today, the focus shifted to repair work caused by a pesky woodpecker that had left its mark on the siding.

The first step was to address the damage by plugging the holes with exterior wood putty, ensuring a smooth and durable repair. After the putty dried, I lightly sanded the area and carefully stained it with a color that perfectly matched the existing siding, making the repair virtually invisible.

To help prevent future woodpecker visits, the last touch was hanging up bird decals around the property. The entire job turned out great — the siding looks as good as new, and the homeowner is happy with the results!
